5-Nil; Cristiano Ronaldo Scores His First Goal For Juventus After 8 Minutes

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his first Juventus goal – just eight minutes into his debut. Ronaldo – an £88million arrival from Real Madrid – was the star attraction in Juventus’ annual intra-squad friendly between Juventus A and Juventus B at Villar Perosa.

The Portugal superstar latched onto Federico Bernadeschi’s long ball and, unmarked, had time to compose himself and fire past the opposition goalkeeper to open the scoring.

Former Premier League stars Wojciech Szczesny, Juan Cuadrado and Emre Can, who joined this summer from Liverpool, started alongside Ronaldo.

The A team went onto reach 5-0, with Ronaldo forcing an own goal and further strikes from Paulo Dybala and Claudio Marchisio – before the game was abandoned after fans invaded the pitch.

A video after the game ended showed Ronaldo stopping to sign a load of autographs for starstruck fans.

The match between Juventus A and Juventus B has been held since 1955 at the Agnelli’s family’s estate 40km outside Turin.

Remarkably, the first match was won by the ‘B’ team, 3-2.

Last year’s match remained 0-0 when, after just 50 minutes, fans stormed the pitch as per the tradition, with the match abandoned.
