There was pandemonium earlier as we speak violent at Anyigba in Dekina Local Government in Kogi state as supporters of Mr. Kabiru Idris and Mr. Ishaq Shaibu clashed over revenue collection. According to reports, many residents were injured in the conflict.

It was reported that Kabiru was asked to resign while Shaibu was appointed to replace him, since then the community thugs have been on each other neck.

The crisis is about who has the legitimate right to collect revenue from the village market. Both groups are laying claim to having the revenue collection right, a situation that has led to violent.
