Edo Accidents Kill 15 People, Including 4 Girls & 2 Boys Of Same Parents
In what will always be known as a black day, another 15 lives have been lost in Nigeria. They were killed in two separate auto crashes that occurred on Friday, January 15.
The accident which also claimed the lives of 6 siblings – four girls and two boys – occurred in Arue-Uromi and Agbede, in Edo state.
Source reports that the Arue-Uromi accident reportedly provoked anger, tears and sorrow.
The news outlet reported that one account had it that the children were crossing the road, while another said they were playing football when an approaching Mercedes-Benz, in an attempt to dodge a pothole, swerved and ran into them, killing them on the spot.
The Mercedes-Benz was burnt down in anger by residents of the area. According to the report, the other accident was said to be multiple ones that involved a petrol tanker, a Sienna bus, and two other vehicles.
It reportedly claimed nine lives, eight male and one female while many people sustained varying degrees of injuries.
