Ekiti State Governor Takes Coronavirus Test After Coming In Contact With Two Infected Persons

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has announced that he has done testing for COVID-19 and gone into self-isolation.

Fayemi who disclosed this via his official Twitter handle stated that the need arose after he came in contact with two infected persons.

He also revealed that he has told all his colleagues to take the test as he looks forward to a negative result

Fayemi tweeted:-

“I just took a CoviD 19 test, having gone into self-isolation since yesterday evening. I’m asymptomatic and feel well, but I was in meetings with two people who had since tested positive. I look forward to an all-clear and have encouraged all my colleagues to take the test”.
