German Construction Expatriate Kidnapped In Kano, Policeman Killed

The Kano State Police Command is displeased to tell most of the people of an unsightly incident which occurred yesterday, Monday 16th April, 2018 alongside Sabon Titi Madobi Highway, Kano, the place an armed gang of 5 men in a Motorcar ambushed and opened fire on a motor vehicle conveying the staff of Dantata & Sawoe Construction Company going to a construction site.

The attackers killed one Police Sergeant attached to Particular Protection Unit (SPU) on Escort duty and kidnapped Mr. Michael Cremza, a German Nationale working with the Company.

The Police Commissioner CP Rabiu Yusuf has since deployed highly effective staff of operatives and detectives to cordon the axis with a view to arresting the culprits and rescue the victim.

Manhunt of the abductors is ongoing.
