“I Prefer S*x With Small Girls” – Man Caught With 9-Year-Old Says

The residents of Alagbado area of Lagos have commenced discreet interrogations to ascertain the number of the young girls in the area that were rape victims.

This followed the confession of a 40-year old man that he only enjoyed sex with small girls.

The suspect, one Mr. Aruna Bala, opened up to the police that he does not enjoy sex with adult women and as such he preferred having minors to satisfy his sexual desire.

It was gathered that Mr. Bala stated that at the police station after he was arrested for engaging two of his neighbours’ small girls in sex romps at the same time.

The incident happened at their residence located at Timothy Afolabi Street, Amikanle area of Alagbado, Lagos.

The suspect was said to have enticed the victims with gifts, lured them into his apartment and engaged them in sex romps when their parents were not around.

However, on the fateful day while he was still in the act, he was caught by one of their neighbours who raised alarm and contacted the parents of the small girls.

The matter was reported to the police at Alagbado Division; Mr. Bala was arrested and detained at the police station.

He reportedly admitted that he slept with the victims but said that it was with their consent and as such it was not a case of rape as claimed by their parents. When he was asked if he knew that they were still minors, he replied that he only slept with small girls and had nothing to do adult women.

The police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates court for defiling the small girls.

The prosecutor, Mr. Christopher John, informed the court that the defendant defiled the victims who were minors on the same date.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, did not take his plea and also denied him bail for the alleged offence.

The court ordered the prosecutor to remand Mr. Bala in prison custody and send his file to the DPP for advice.

He was remanded in prison custody and the matter adjourned till 24th September, 2019 for the report of DPP advice to be available.

It was gathered that if the DPP found Bala culpable, the matter may be transferred to the High Court where he will face trial. And if found guilty, he may spend up to 10 years in prison custody.

However, the confession of Bala had caused some parents to interrogate their young girls to know if they were among the victims.
