Just in: Senate Orders Investigation Into Bomb Blast At Nwodo’s House(Details Here)

The Senate on Tuesday ordered investigation into the bomb blast that occurred within the dwelling of Chief John Nnia Nwodo at Nkehe, the nation dwelling of President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Enugu state.


The determination adopted some extent of order raised by Senator Chukwuka Utazi (PDP), Enugu North Senatorial district, stating that, Chief Nwodo narrowly escaped being killed.

In his comment, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki requested the committee of Police Affairs to swing into motion and revert in two weeks time.

“Thank you Senator Utazi. If you had come underneath a movement, we’d have mentioned it. But be that as it could, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Police Affairs will examine and revert to us in two weeks time.
