Lagos Building Collapse: Buhari Reacts, Charges Ambode
President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his sadness at the news of the collapsed building in Itafaaji area of Lagos state today, March 13th. Speaking through his Twitter handle, he asked God to grant everyone affected the fortitude to bear the loss.
He then went on to charge the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, to do all that is required to prevent such occurrence in the nearest future.
15 school children are said to be trapped in the rubbles of the collapse. A rescue operation is still ongoing and a high number of children have been recovered alive from the rubbles.

I’m extremely saddened by the news of the collapsed building in Itafaaji area of Lagos. It touches one to lose precious lives in any kind of mishap, particularly those so young and tender. May God grant everyone affected by this sad incident fortitude and succour.
