Meet Oba Music, Nigeria’s Entertainer and Businessman

Nigerian youths have always been known for re-writing history, and changing the narrative globally in every sphere of their endeavors, be it technology, business, entertainment, or art.

One of these thriving youths bridging the gap between the entertainment industry and entrepreneurship industry is a young talent, Charles Chibuike Ejiobi popularly known as Oba Music, the founder of 4Life Records and Teczo Links Limited Company.

Oba Music is from Orlu in Imo State but was born and grew up in Abia State. He started making music in his early days before transitioning into a music producer and other aspects of the music business. Oba Music is a genius when it comes to raising people as a philanthropist.

Asides from being a music artist, Oba Music is also a songwriter, producer, business consultant, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. His music is a mix of African and Western sounds, combining traditional African rhythms with modern beats and melodies.

Oba Music is currently based in Ghana where he focused on running his real estate business but is also very passionate about music. He draws his inspiration from great musicians such as Bob Marley who infused his music with a sense of spirituality, and Fela Kuti who believes that “_Music wants to dictate a better life, against a bad life. When you’re listening to something that depicts having a better life, and you’re not having a better life, it must have an effect on you”_and notable American musician and entrepreneur P. Diddy who posits that “Don’t be afraid to close your eyes and dream but then open your eyes and see”.

In 2020, Oba Music launched a project called Teczo Links Foundation, to elevate his charity for widows and underprivileged children. Oba and the rest of his team have successfully raised a new set of individuals that are making waves all over the world.

“Teczo Links Foundation is basically a non-profit organization in which our main interest is ensuring that we give back to the community, especially the motherless ones and those going through hardship,” he states, adding that, “as it is stated in 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 that ‘each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. So we just give back to the community from the proceeds I get from my businesses.”

The name “Oba Music” has grown to become one of the biggest names in the Nigerian Music Industry and beyond, due to his consistency in the delivery of highly creative and successful audio and visual products.

He has worked with top music artists within and outside the Afrobeats arena, like Singah who was under PeterPsquare, and also Iceboy a Nigerian Igbo rapper based in South Africa.

Oba Music is currently working on his EP of 7 tracklists, and fans ought to get enthusiastic about what he has planned for the future.
