Nigeria Records 328 New Cases, Total Now 12,233
Following The Announcement Of 328 New Cases, Coronavirus Cases In Nigeria Have Risen To 12,233 On Saturday, June 6, 2020.
The new cases according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) were recorded in 23 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Out of the 328 new cases, 66 were recorded in Lagos, 50 in Abuja, 32 in Delta, 31 in Oyo, and 26 in Borno state.
The NCDC also confirmed 24 cases in Rivers, 23 each in Edo and Ebonyi, 17 each in Anambra and Gombe, 14 in Nasarawa, 12 each in Imo, Kano and Sokoto.
More so, eight new cases were recorded in Jigawa, seven in Ogun, five in Bauchi, two each in Kebbi, Kaduna, Ondo, and one each in Abia and Niger state.
Sadly, nine deaths were also recorded on Saturday as coronavirus-related deaths rose from 333 to 342.
The NCDC’s update also showed that 130 patients recovered from the virus in the country. This brings the total of recovery cases in Nigeria to 3,826.
