“Nnamdi Kanu Has Been Abandoned By Ndi’Igbo” – IPoB Reveals

Indigenous People of Biafra, IPoB, has accused the Igbo, particularly the elite, of abandoning Nnamdi Kanu, the IPoB chief, describing the motion as a giant disgrace.

In a press release issued by Ikechukwu Nnaji, an activists and social critics, and endorsed by Emma Powerful, the publicity secretary, the group stated it was the most important disgrace on the Igbo race to be silent over the disappearance of Kanu.

According to IPoB, it doesn’t matter from which perspective one has judged the matter, as Kanu was a “bold, innocent chap who was tagged a terrorist, was arrested, refused bail against court injunctions, later released on disagreeable grounds, and finally kidnapped by the same government (perhaps killed like his dog and immediate followers).”

It claimed the Nigerian authorities would by no means have spoken of restructuring if not for Kanu.

The group had kinder phrases for Federal Government “whose efforts had been to crush Kanu from time”, than for the Igbo race for all the time proving to be the best risk to their very own progress as a folks.

Only Nnamdi Kanu, IPoB stated, understood that the present Nigerian construction would by no means assure the Igbo their due. It famous that the Igbo’s “South East is the only geopolitical zone out of the six with just five states out of 36, 15 senatorial slots out of 109, and 43 seats out of 360 federal constituencies.”

The group added: “We the Igbo should demand the discharge of Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government. He represents the brand new and most potent Igbo entrance to actualise and assure our stake and demand for our fair proportion as one of many three main ethnic elements of Nigeria.

“And if he be useless as each proof factors, then we must wait one other century for one more of his type to be born. Forgetting Kanu means throwing 100 years behind our quest for self-determination as Ndigbo.

“Nnamdi Kanu have to be discovered. He should not be forgotten like a useless rooster. At least, the Igbo (his personal brothers) mustn’t.

“Until then, Ndigbo stay a defeated race, shamefully complicit in their very own annihilation agenda.”
