PDP Deceptive, Full Of Superfluous Politicians – APC Lawmaker, Amere

The lawmaker representing Iwo Federal Constituency in Osun, Hon. Gafar Akintayo Amere, has described the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as an abode of redundant politicians, saying the party itself is deceptive.

Amere, who was reacting to recent statement credited to the Osun PDP in which the Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola was accused of reckless spending said the statement was borne out of mischief, adding that members of the opposition party benefited most from the employment opportunities and infrastructural facilities of the administration.

He said that the 16 years of PDP was characterised with maladministration, wastage and corruption, saying their incompetence and demonstration of callousness was certificate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) to rule the country for many years.

Amere, in a press release sent to DAILY POST on Tuesday further accused PDP of striving to take the mantle of leadership through propaganda, adding that such move was “dead on arrival”.

The lawmaker averred that majority of the leaders in PDP were “passive to the basic tenets of progressive leadership”, stating that it would take the party 50 years to get back on its feet.

He, however, described APC administration as a template for progressive minded Nigerians, admonishing PDP to borrow a leaf.

“Majority of PDP are slow learners. Some of them are enemies of progressive governance. Their inability to learn and acknowledge the template of real developmental based administration of PMB may place them on tutorial class for 50years.

“If at all there will be change of party after so many years. Certainly, PDP is not an option. Nigeria can`t afford to lag behind again. We are good to fly in company of the moving train.

Buhari has taught us how to survive despite our population. He disclosed Nigeria is truly blessed with resources.

“This is the first time past leaders will be forced to return a public money illegally converted to theirs. Only PMB ensured budgets are passed without paying kobo. PMB revoked illegal oil licensed not minding whose horse is gored.

This is the first time in history billions are remitted to government account and not converted to personal cover as it was the culture of PDP.
