President Buhari, Others React To Death Of Pastor Adeboye’s Son

President Muhammadu Buhari has conveyed his condolences to Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), over the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye

Buhari’s condolence message was contained in a tweet via his official Twitter handle on Thursday, May 6.

The president prayed for God to comfort the grieving family and friends of the late pastor.


He also asked for the God Almighty will grant the departed rest. He said:

”My deepest sympathies to the family of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), on the passing of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

I pray that God Almighty will grant the departed rest, and comfort grieving family, friends & associate’s.”

Similarly, a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, prayed for God to comfort and strengthen Pastor Enoch Adeboye over his son’s demise.

Atiku tweeted:

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of @PastorEAAdeboye in this trying time. I pray that God will comfort and strengthen him and his family by His mercies and grace.”

Meanwhile, Pastor Leke Adeboye has reacted to the death of his brother, Pastor Dare Adeboye, as news about the incident trended on Nigerian social media space.

In a post on Facebook on Thursday, May 6, Leke quoted a bible verse that suggested that righteous people are taken away to be spared from disaster and evil.
