Tiwa Savage Becomes First Female African Artist To Bag An MTV EMA

Nigerian pop diva Tiwa Savage made history as the first female artist to win an MTV EMA Award.

The Mavin Records first lady beat competition from colleague Davido, Shehkinah (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (Congo) Destruction Boyz (South Africa) etc to emerge winner.

Tiwa Savage attended the MTV EMA awards show at Bilbao, Spain where she received her award for ‘Best African Act’.

After her historic win Tiwa Savage took to Instagram to thank God, her team, and fans.
