WAEC Releases Results For 2019 January/February Private Candidates (See How To Check It)
Candidates can now check their 2019 January/February West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination result as it has been released.
The West African Examinations Council, WAEC, has released results for private candidates who took the 2019 January/February West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, WASSCE.
According to an announcement made by the Head of Nigeria National Office of WAEC, Olu Adenipekun, 39, 557 candidates obtained credits and above in a minimum of five subjects including English Language and Mathematics in the last West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates in the country.

1. Go to WAEC 2019 result checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
3. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2019
4. Select the Type of Examination
5. Enter the e-PIN Voucher Number
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your e-PIN
7. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come.
The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has made a special provision for private candidates to register for their school certificate examination 24 hours before the exams.
In the statement, WAEC said there is a provision for “walk–in” candidates and candidates with special needs.
“Walk –in candidates, who wish to write the examination after the close of entries may be accommodated provided they register less than 24 hours to the scheduled time of the paper they intend to write”.
The statement said the special needs candidates will also register online but “they must state clearly their disabilities: blind, low vision, spastic, speech etc.
