Wizkid, Naira Marley, Rema (See The 5 Most Anticipated Albums Of 2020) – Whose Albums Are You Anticipating The Most?

2019 was a year of glory and prominence for some artistes and it’s another year where artists get to put their best foot forward and drop their long-awaited projects.

As we step into the year 2020, here are the five albums we can’t just wait to have our hands-on.

Let’s go

1. Wizkid

Wizkid has long promised his album since 2018, firstly pushing it as a project of just ten songs. That has changed though as there have been some sneak peeks from the Starboy.

There are songs with Damian MarleyBurna Boy, and Buju Banton. While it eventually didn’t drop in 2019, the coast is clear for WizKid in 2019 and possibly a Grammy nomination might emerge.

2. Tiwa Savage

For the early part of 2020, Tiwa has been in the studio writing and recording. She’s been in the studio with FireboyPeruzziMystro, and Olamide.

Sources say it’s certain her album will drop this year yet for the past two years, Tiwa Savage has slipped down the ladder as she’s failed to record a hit song.

Will there be hits from this album? – let’s just keep our fingers crossed and see how things go.

3. Rema

Rema had 2019 on lockdown with a replete supply of hits spread over the three quarters of 2019. He also toured parts of the US and was featured on Barack Obama’s list.

His debut album looks certain to drop this year and who knows there might be features with US rappers as he has been seen recording with Diplo and Grammy award-winning producer, Scott Storch.

4. Wande Coal

Wande Coal has made it know that his EP titled “REALMS” is about to drop. This is his first project since 2016 will drop next month.

Long awaited and given the way he’s taken a hiatus and his recent output, the EP will surely interest the music space.

5. Naira Marley

Firstly, there were talks of a joint album between Zlatan and Naira Marley after they had sorted out their EFCC debacle. But after both slowed down on it, it might not happen, instead, there might be a full-length project from Naira Marley this year.

A solid EP which birthed the Tesumole dance and a shutdown of the O2 indigo a few days ago, Naira Marley might be looking to claim 2020 with hits.
